Meet Our Dentist
Dr. Bano Ali DMD
Dr. Ali grew up in Cypress, TX, surrounded by a large, supportive family. Her passion for dentistry and helping others began early when she volunteered at community clinics and participated in Mission of Mercy Texas events, witnessing firsthand how dentistry can relieve pain and transform lives.
She earned her degree in Public Health from The University of Texas at Austin before pursuing her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in California, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society for her academic and clinical excellence. Dr. Ali then completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital and Stanford University in Palo Alto, gaining invaluable experience in dental surgery, oral sedation, and treating patients with complex medical needs.
Dr. Ali is passionate about connecting with her patients and helping them improve their health. She values educating her patients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their oral health. This passion extends to her role as an assistant professor at UT Health Houston Dental School, where she shares her knowledge with the next generation of dental professionals.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ali and her husband are busy with their growing family. They have a spirited three-year-old daughter who loves gymnastics and recently welcomed their second daughter in April 2024. The family is grateful for their time together and the joy of watching their two girls grow.
